50+ years old
Tons of asbestos
Leaky roof/siding which cause(s/d) mold
Mold which must be removed while using a respirator and asbestos protection

Also: expect cast iron sewer pipes that are embedded in the slab foundation and when they rust and leak you have to jackhammer the foundation or you have to run new sewer around the perimeter of the house, or if you're lucky maybe run a sleeve through it if you can find a expert who won't make it worse
