>>509237068In fairness, unless you've looked into Eastern Orthodoxy, you've never learned about Christianity. So I give grace to atheists/agnostics in the West who don't know better, because their religious counterparts (Roman Catholics/Protestants) have displayed to them a false Christianity.
If you care to at the very least learn something new, listen to the Orthodox Ethos podcast by Father Peter Heers. He's pretty authoritative not in his own right, but insofar as he sticks to the Dogma of Orthodoxy and does not innovate and/or give his opinions on Christianity. This is not to say he doesn't give opinions on ethics/morals/politics, he does. But he leaves theology to the Saints and Church Fathers. He merely relays the information.
