This one I understand because the price for a driving exam went up by 100% for absolutely no reason in less than ten years, I'm just not paying 1k€ for a test I might fail if the boomer doing it decides I failed for some abstract reason.
Also there's no point in having a car in a big diverse city, top speeds everywhere are 30km/h and you have to dodge nafricans on scooters delivering goyslop to sòyim, parking costs are insane, you get a road tax, gas tax and maintenance tax, having a car is basically like having a second half rent to pay, doesn't help that they're trying to force chinklectric cars on everyone by 2030-2035.

I agree with all of what his parents do except the "no girls" policy. He should be able to date, at least. That's setting him up for failure.
Other than that, it looks good. My folks were very liberal and let me do whatever I wanted, and as an adult I sort of regret that. I learned discipline in my 20s and saw how they were wrong and I should've taken life and my place in it more seriously and been more monk-like. So yeah, this kid's parents are pretty good.
