The debt increase will actually, unironically send this country into a great depression. Loss of currency status > credit downgrade > economic depression that will take YEARS to escape, whether we ever fully recover is not even guaranteed because by the time a depression is over, the birthrate crisis and labor shortages will be hitting in full force.


This bill is literally and unironically the worst piece of legislation ever made in the history of the United States.
