High price point restaurant waiters make like 100k a year. Tipping subs on reddit are full of examples. I worked in a few fine dining kitchens and FOH routinely makes 2x to 3x what BOH staff does. Post an ad today for a kitchen job and you'll get no candidates. Post an ad for front of house staff and you'll get a fucking convention.
