I had this weird ass chick just randomly stall her car every day for 3 weeks in front of my parents house. It was bizarre. There is plenty of space because we live in front of a park. I walked up to her after a week and asked if she was ok and she literally started screaming and rolled her windows up and kept screaming. I was like “wtf” and went back inside. Ngl I was concerned for my parents. She wasn’t from the neighborhood or anything. She just kept randomly showing up and staying there for 5+ hours a day, randomly turning her car on and off. She would just stare at the house and spook my parents. At week 3 I just knocked on her window and told her to fuck off. She started screaming again and I called the cops. OP, I used to live in a similar suburban subdivision, with 3 older siblings who all had vehicles. With a two car garage, one parked in the garage and the other in the opposite space of the driveway (there was a Harley in the garage), all the kids and our friends knew damn well to stay the hell out of the driveway, as the fury from my parents would not be worth dealing with should either one get blocked in.

There is a third car in the garage. Yes there are potentially 4 spaces total. The reason that car is parked on the street is because it most likely would need to be moved in order for the car(third car in the garage) to leave. Me and my roomates have the same issue. I park in the lots nearby. Rarely leave work from home.
