Azerbaijan accuses the FSB, the Russian internal affairs ministry, and the Russian National Guard of torturing and killing Azerbaijani citizens.

The Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office reported that during a raid on June 27 in the Sverdlovsk region, they detained Azerbaijani citizens and persons of Azerbaijani nationality.

The United States has stopped the scheduled supplies of Patriot air defense missiles and other weapons to Ukraine - @nickschifrin.

Azerbaijani media have published an anonymous letter containing an explanatory note by a Russian air defense captain from Grozny (Chechnya), claiming that the fire at the Azerbaijani AZAL Embraer E190 passenger plane was opened on the orders of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Reportedly, the letter also contains video footage, audio recordings, and details about the poor condition of the equipment.

The plane crashed on December 25, 2024 as it approached Grozny. In all probability, it was shot down by a Russian air defense missile. 38 people were killed.

ASTRA media claims to have spoken to the air defense commander who gave the order to shoot at the plane. According to them, he did not deny that he wrote the note. Azerbaijani media also claimed that the authenticity of the audio message and the note have been confirmed.

Text of the explanatory note:

"Regarding the questions addressed to me, I, Captain Dmitry Sergeyevich Paladichuk, can explain the following: I am the commander of combat vehicle No. 274, head of the crew, and was on combat duty covering the city of Grozny from December 24 to December 25, 2024. At 05:40 on December 25, 2024, an order was received to switch to combat readiness level 1. At 05:48, I reported the transition to readiness level 1 via mobile communication. The mobile connection at the site was unstable, and I had no other reliable means of communication. Fiber-optic cables were laid but not connected to the terminal, and there was no digital phone with a dialing panel.

◾Economic redistribution of property in Russia: Azerbaijanis and people from the Caucasus own a large share of markets in Russia. A huge re-privatization campaign is already ongoing in Russia, with the key role played by the Russian prosecution and FSB, controlled by the Kremlin.

◾Lukoil owner Vagit Alekperov is also from Azerbaijan. Lukoil is a Russian private-owned oil company, the second largest in Russia and the largest private oil company in the world by proven stores of crude oil. An attempt to re-privatize this company is possible.

There are no special events to report from the front lines.
The ruzzian side continues its preparations for the final(?) major offensive, and we are actively searching for convoys en route to the front.
Thanks to Peder, we were able to deliver high-altitude and long-range drones, giving Vadim’s unit enough range to spot convoys entering the combat zone.
This gives them time to prepare bomb-dropping drones with cluster munitions (see video).

The ruzzian military is sending trains through occupied territory to Melitopol and Crimea, which strongly suggests that the Kerch Bridge has suffered damage that hasn’t been officially reported.

None of the official tax records suggest that he had a salary that would allow him to purchase such assets.
Not even his family members have declared such income — not even combined.
He is now under investigation, and thankfully, NABU is handling the case.
