Not only was it memory holed, our own government covered up the fact that it came out of a lab, they tried to tell us it was bat soup... a million of their own citizens were killed by a literal bioweapon and they told us it was bat soup.

Politicians aren't gonna talk about it if they think the covid rules/vax was good because there's nothing more to be done. If they think it was bad, they can't really say anything since if people actually believe them then the structure of government that their jobs rely on would probably collapse (I know normalfags are cattle, but I don't think any government would be able to outright say "we poisoned the majority of society on purpose" and continue to be stable). Normalfags are either elated that it's over (so don't want it brought up anymore, even positively) or don't like thinking of the possibility that they were poisoned (the thought of it makes them sad, and they don't like being sad). Anyone else doesn't really have any influence and covid is "old news" anyways. There's some scientists, but any that are willing to go against the vax aren't going to be friendly with capital-S 'Science', so are mostly irrelevant, at least until when in half a century all the people who lived through the pandemic are old and the young can consider themselves superior since "now we know better".

It's been memory holed so you don't question the sheer amount of economic damage that shutdowns/lockdowns and stimulation cheques did.

You're now paying the cost, and will be paying for it forever.
Over a cough that was only dangerous to 80+ year olds and the immunosuppressed.

In hindsight, those people should have been "lockdowned" whilst we let everyone else get on with their lives.
