In April 2024 they ran a simulated pandemic excercise where bioterrorists launched an attack on the 4th of July 2025 using Nipah virus. In October 2019 they ran a similar simulation where coronavirus escaped from a wet market and caused a global pandemic, which we all know actually happened not that long afterwards
And if it's a highly lethal virus like Nipah virus that gets released, which would infect less people due to it killing the infected too quickly before it spreads, putting it into fireworks would be a great way around that so it spreads to way more people
