"Woke" was already long in the making by the time it happened, but that was the flashpoint where it went full retard. If you have kids, it makes even worse to imagine it as your own child being preyed on by an entire segment of the population for literally doing nothing.

From that point on, I would refuse to compromise my opinions - I knew I wasn't seeing things. I might hide my power level, but my moves in life would always act on a new awareness from that point on.
