It's just going to be a pit of misery. My mom grew up in the Bronx and they had to leave in the late 60s because the violence got so bad. Her grandparents were Germans from austria and owned a store down there. They had to leave because Puerto Ricans kept breaking their windows and drawing swastikas on the building because their name sounded Jewish.
