His actions resulted in the common people having an easier life, not having to compete the elites and their gigantic slave plantations. Economically, Caesar was good for the common man. He invited in Gauls actually, who were already a part of the Republic at that point but had little political power, making up a huge portion of the slave population.
The difference is that he didn't open the borders to hostile Germanic tribes, like what Democrats are doing. The Caesars also expelled hostile tribes, which is exactly what Trump is doing with ICE.

There's a reason public school education under Democrat control has dropped in quality over the years, because they get wrecked in historical arguments with anyone that has actually studied history.
