Your body does not "want to store fat" its entirely dependent on your caloric intake vs calories out.
But sweating to cool down your body in hot weather, just like your body needing to heat up in cold weather, is all work and will burn calories
So yep if you eat same amount of calories and use A/C you will be fatter than without
But of course you could also use A/C and just eat less to achieve same result
