What if I use a proprietary third party hosting solution for my game? My game is designed with this particular hosting solution in mind and would never work with anything else due to its high level of abstraction. This third party charge me the hosting costs monthly. At some point it's no longer profitable for me to keep the game running.

What now? Only that particular third party company can host the game and they're definitely not going to do it for free.
