I am 18 years old, meaning that I grew up in the gen Z high-school area, When I was 14-15, my best friend of 9 years would consider transitioning and being transgender
skip forward a month or so, were in a relationship and it's really rough, he endorses self harm and I try to kill myself.
A year later, I realized how utterly retarded that was, but he never grew out of that phase, he seems relatively happy now, while I, am mentally unwell and haven't really adapted and adjusted to the sudden change in being an actual loser with now one less friend and no social life outside of the internet.
>Friend, transitions, is happy with life
>Me, actively staying away from the idea, miserable and so done with everything
Am I missing something or is being transgender not as bad as it's made out to be?
