some people are more skilled at active imagination than others. Its often developed at a young age and mastered through adulthood. Kids who generally start doing this disassociate with life very frequently out of boredom or trauma. At school growing up it was really easy for me to just enter a fan ficition of like star wars in my head, where I had my own characters own plot drama fights, it feels like a feature length film ect. I still do it often but only when im completely bored and theres nothing going on in front of me.
Some people are REALLY good at active imagination, its actually a really powerful tool for self reflection and leveling up your psyche. Active imagination can be repurposed for higher learning.. just letting you know you have mastery over a skill that people spend their entire lives to never access.
