Bitcoin has no top because fiat has no bottom. Why didn't you listen? Bitcoin is clearly superior to gold, in many ways too and will soon be the premium store of value

and it's 1/10 the value right now, only up from here.

It has value if you had bought 1000 when it was 10$ now you compete with blackrock.
It is also terrible, need farms just to stay alive, and these farms are all in China.
Its not like a coin you can have and exchange, the network is very slow and its very expansive to make any transaction.
It doesn't store any value, its virtual, its easy to lost your wallet, the exchange can blacklist your bitcoin

Just gonna post in this thread to gloat as someone who bought bitcoin and told everyone about it in 2013-2014.... got told "it's fake" "it's funny money" "it's gonna get hacked" "what if the power goes out" "what if the internet goes down"

So many fucking retards. One cute girl at work though is interested and wants me to tell her about it some time though so there's that.

Doesn't need farms to stay alive.
Network is very fast, I traded 20k+ in 5 mins over thousands of miles for $1.50.
It stores exponentially increasing value.
No one can blacklist your Bitcoin because you can just make another wallet and use that.
It's unstealable, you can just memorize 24 words and no one can take it from you ever.
It's magical teleport money that exponentially increases in value, why haven't you bought any yet?

>Why didn't you listen?

Why are you being patronizing? People can buy right now, or 10 years from now, or 100 years.

To think it's "too late" is damning children that are alive now, and will be born in the future.

Put your ego aside brother, Bitcoin is going up forever, with a 30%+ year over year return.

Fiat currency is powerful because it removes the useful ties to metals. However it is still controlled at the top by the banker peodphile mafia, so until that changes fiat will continued to be used for usury debt slavery.

1 satoshi is 1/10 of a penny
if that happens then it will be 1/5 of a penny.
Still very cheap, anyone can buy in.

the basic promise of bitcoin hasn't been fulfilled. It's not money or a replacement for money. It's way to unstable in its value to be useful as money. At least right now.

After a short google search:
If you bought gold in 1985 and sold it in 2025 you made 3x your money back (with inflation adjustment)

When you purchase the Tethers you use to buy BTC, your dollars are used to buy Treasury paper.
Tether is literally backed by US debt.
Hence all crypto is a derivative of US debt. When the US debt market collapses, so too will crypto.

Easy
Bitcoin has fixed supply
people die and lose their wallets sometimes.
price = demand/supply
supply go down, price inflates.

I openly grant that it could be a currency if it stabilizes but until then it's "just" a great investment, but the great vision of it being a new currency is far away.

The initial run up was based in Chinese debt, now it is US debt. Exchanges buy each others BTC with it, to drive the price up. You can make a lot of money trading off this scheme though, never hold
