>>509415631you're talking a lot of shit but everything you said is just worse for america, if europe is forced to buy american oil anyways then how does it benefit america that they get it for less money now? you're not competing with anyone when it comes to selling oil to europe, europe has no other choice, this is just a good deal for them, and if trump tries to force china to buy more natural resources from america (didn't work last time) then they just get more bang for their buck, if trump forces them to buy 100 million dollars worth of oil then if it's 15k tons then it's a better deal for them than if it was 10k tons, like both of the things that mentioned only make a weaker currency worse for america, since neither of them are a competitive environment, american oil being cheaper doesn't make it more competitive, it's not competing with anyone, it just means you get less money, if you were exporting goods that are in high demand and you're competing with a lot of other exporters on the market then a lower currency could be helpful, but you don't, you export natural resources to hostage buyers
