AFAIK this is the version on Trump's desk, with similar language for manufacturing. What does this mean for muh silencers? Will we still need to file a Form 4 (or Form 1 for manufacture) but it's free? Will the entire registration requirement be challenged now that the "tax" is absurdly $0?

Still need the tax stamp, tax stamp costs $0. GOA is already in process of filing a lawsuit arguing that a $0 tax is a defacto registration which is illegal. This could actually completely fuck us because if suppressors and SBR's aren't removed then there's nothing stopping the Democrats the next time they are in power from raising it back up "to be in line with inflation of the original intent of the tax" and making the tax $5,000 or more.

Yes OP I think you're right, silencers and some other things would have a $0 transfer tax, but registration and approval for transfer would still be required.
The reason for this is the Byrd rule which prevents amendments to law in budget reconciliation bills that don't have to do with revenue/spending/whatever, so you can adjust taxes but can't do shit about the other stuff in the NFA not considered a tax.

there argument is that if a $0 tax is no tax at all; it's just a registry--which is illegal.
before, they could say that they had to keep a record of who payed the tax or not, but now that no one has to pay, there's effectively no difference between the list of who has payed the $0 tax and a registry.

as it stands, it's a tax.
when the dems take back the reigns of power, they will simply raise the tax to some unreasonable amount.
the difference between a dem and a republican
is that dems are not to exercise power when they have it.
for better or for worse, they throw around whatever power they have.

They tried to remove it from the NFA but we're unable to, so they made the tax stamp $0 so that then later they can challenge it in court as SBRs and suppressor being at $0 for the tax stamp renders the NFA on them to be unconstitutional without any "but it funds the government!" excuse.

If you get caught with it I think it's a NFA violation which is 10 years in federal prison. And you have to apply for the stamp before you can build it (or at least you're supposed to).

If you don't get caught with it, nothing happens.

Yeah we already know this. They attempt to take the guns 24/7. They need a disarmed population to complete genocide and deal the final death blow to jewSSA. The only thing this country has going for it is 300 million guns, making ground occupation nearly impossible.

However, they found a loophole by importing infinity spics and nons to dilute the population into low iq subservient brown slaves. The jewSSA is basically cooked and balkanization is inevitable.
