Can trained animals combat drones?
What would the ethical implications of this be?

>trained
That is a cute description for jamming metal rods straight into their skull and steering them by direct application of electric shocks, but it has be done before.
Wasn't too popular with anyone, and mostly got canceled with anything but insects after coldwar

We need to engineer dogs to have snake fangs that inject lava into our enemies.

You need the dolphins for when the soviet krakens wrap up your naval ships. They force them to let go with their sonic attack.

No it wasn't
Any serious power still does this. Russians do it. USA does it. Dolphins and probably all kinds of other shit.

Yes. Birds could be trained to down drones. Just like they train monkeys to collect coconuts and bananas in the jungle. Just like dolphins can be spec ops. And almost like how you can train a nigger to deliver mail sometimes.

Sounds much much easier to train them to steal a package after delivery instead, always integrate the natural habits

It's internalized when flaccid so that they're more hydrodynamic.

Yes but they're too unpredictable. That's why drones were created in the first place.
