>>509450837 (OP)>What would actually happen if California seceded? This would be highly advantageous to the corporations who are looting CA and using it as a pirate port into the US. It would protect their operations from Federal law enforcement, the only remaining opposition since they've long captured local and state LEO.
A lot of people say that CA generates the money that flyovers depend on, but CA doesn't do this in a vacuum. What happens when CA has to negotiate with the other states for its water? Who comes to the rescue when CA burns down in a flaming earthquake tornado every year?
CA also has negative population growth since almost everyone in the state is trying to leave. I was born and raised there and left, and only one person I know from there is still there. Whites in particular knew to leave. So in the long run, CA's concentration of money, migrant labor, and temperate climate will be run into the ground in a secession because it would be entirely under the control of looters and everyone smart enough to see that would immediately leave.
If you want to fix CA, it needs to be split into at least three states. Due to the looter government, this would need to be accomplished by vigilante violence and a temporary suspension of the state constitution. This has already happened before in CA's history.
