Human religions claimed to know how the world works. Maybe there is a powerful being that started the big bang, but it sure as shit doesn't care about us or do anything else since then.

Believing in an almighty creator is actually extremely intuitive and easy. Just look at how fast Simulation Theory caught on with all the atheists - suddenly believing in a universe watched over by its creator was downright fashionable among those people.

What's really challenging about God as explained by the Bible isn't the idea that He exists. What's challenging for us is the idea that He could actually love us.
