Accurate up until this part. The elites have no intention of fixing either of those. Most boomers have their wealth tied up in real estate so housing costs going down would ruin their nest egg and if you know anything about boomers you'd know they'd sooner destroy the world than lose money. The problem with housing is manifold. From regulations stopping new houses from being built to a shortage of construction workers, to corporations buying up single family hones and turning them into rentals.
