Jesus himself might not have been so blasphemous, christianity is basically a few accounts of jesus' life and then a whole lot of stuff one guy, paul, wrote after the fact. Then you have several centuries of trying to assimilate pagans and making religious concessions to make them more comfortable.
Now if we go back before this, to 1-3rd century christianity, we see a lot of diverse groups believing a lot of different things. They are however unfortunately lost to us.
Id ask you though, if you are defining people well outside the scope of all forms of established christianity, and even entirely incompatable offshoots like jehovas witnessess or mormons, as christians... why? There is no real tradition to convince that any of it is true or correct. Even if someone is open to the possibility that jesus might have been some kind of something, its lost, and built upon the tradition of abrahamism which you are perfectly able to follow with out being a christian at all.
Christians turned god, whos entire thing is being a god of laws, into an unfair entity that actually created a world and people who are not equipped to suit his purpose for them, and then had to fix it somehow after the fact. Christianity is actually the most extreme and severe form of abrahamism. According to christians jesus' sacrifice is needed because breaking even one rule is the equivalent of breaking all rules and instantly damns you. Where does this idea come from outside of christianity? Nowhere, this is a christian innovation and not supported in the old testament at all. So christianity invented a problem and says you are absolutely screwed if you do anything except follow our very narrow solution to this problem. That sounds like a cult to me.
