My recommendation is to go out, and touch some grass. All the grass. Because the internet lies. Everyone I've met is normal and pleasant. You'd have no idea if you bumped into a trans person. so here are my impressions.
>VermontFriendly farmer Hippies who just will not shut the fuck up, but are otherwise quiet and friendly. Will fist fight you for gay rights.
>N.H.As a dixie boy I kinda like these guys.
What if "the Jews" and "Florida Man" did a fusion dance. They invented the libertarian party. Hates taxes. Hates culture war. Loves money. Simple as.
State government's been republican for the last 4 years thanks to a GOP governor who told trump to fuck off during covid and started selling medical equipment to all the other states and canada.
It's still a blue state because the civic pastime is telling the government to get bent and if you try to tell them what to do in bed or church. They'll probably do the opposite just to spite you (and run a black market on the side because money).
>MaineBasically Alaska, but progressive and not frozen, eastern half is part of "blue florida" they call the north country.
>MassNIMBY, opinionated as fuck, can't drive worth a damn. New Money everywhere, slowly devolving into the state of Boston. Constantly getting into a slap fight with NH over taxes and smuggling, which I find helarious.
>ConnecticutOld Money to mass's New Money. Think Germany but American, everything is covered in red tape, and just as terrifyingly productive.
NH, Maine, and Vermont are also all pro-gun and armed to the fucking teeth in a way that I find impressive.
Between that and the economy it's why I decided to settle up here.
