>>509463677I compiled general stats from tens of sources 5-6 months ago and the general consensus in the data is that ukraine has at least 150,000 KIA and Russia has at least 200,000-300,000 KIA. Ukraine also has at least 70,000-150,000 dead civilians. Meaning total KD ratios are actually near parity. Synopsis below.
Ukraine:
120,00-150,000 military dead
70,000-150,000 civilian dead
At least 400,000 wounded of which half seriously.
11-16 million internally or internationally displaced, including at least 5-8 million women migrated to other countries (demographically fatal)
Russia:
200,000-300,000 military dead
Fewer than 1,000-3,000 civilian dead (not counting Donetsk and Luhansk republics, if so fewer than 50,000 dead)
About 500,000 wounded of which perhaps half seriously.
Fewer than 1 million internally displaced.
Total vehicle losses on all sides, hundreds of thousands to millions. Total missiles and drones launched by Russia into Ukraine, more than 13,000 as of December 2024.
These stats were as of December 2024. I also called that Russia would take back Kursk relatively simply and also recently that Russia will press into Kharkhiv and Sumy in a new offensive involving up to 150,000 troops.
