It's fine. It solidifies a decent chunk of the president's agenda and gives him more tools on the border and military. In a big ass bill like this there's always a lot to nitpick over, but I think overall it's as good a product as can be expected when it's created by 273 politicians.

The taxation regime has been in place since 2015. Against that baseline the bill reduces the deficit. If the government is such a spendthrift, we should all support a bill that prevents them from taking more of our money.
