But seriously, the official explanation is empty reserves. Iran used 850 ballistic missiles against Israel in 12-day war. You need on average 2 Arrow effectors to shoot down one ballistic. It gives circa 2500 effectors. Each Arrow costs around $3 mln so the entire cost of this war oscilates around $7bln for Israel. Israelis produce around 100 Arrows a year which probably means that they reserves are equal round fkn zero or near it xD
