Ukraine inherited 1/3 of Russia's population, 25-33% industry, economy, territory the size of Poland and Germany combined, vast military bases, vast electric grid made for war, etc.
vast anti-air, with thousands of S-300 alone, S-300 systems, Buk and other mobile anti-air connected to NATO that are a threat to any bomber, no matter how stealthy you think they are, that are hidden and turned off and are turned on when US sees approaching Russian bombers
most importantly, they closed the border from day 1 for adult males and there are hundreds or thousands of videos of people being caught like dogs on the street by draft officers which are then being sent to the front
from day 1 they are using cities and civilian infrastructure as shield
this is just a tip of the iceberg of what Russia is dealing with
meanwhile to Russia this isn't some random country, that's why even the government buildings in Kiev are still standing and why they started bombing dual use infrastructure only after Kiev with its masters bombed Crimean bridge
and most importantly Russia doesn't want to win at any cost, it wants to minimize losses
the number one proof that Russia is winning is that US is backing off, as the only way for US to prevent Ukraine's fall is to directly go to war with a nuclear super power, which I guess they do not want to do over some Eastern European shitholes
the main purpose of Baltics would be to provoke Russia and/or to use its territory to damage Russian cities, like in Ukraine
we will see what role they will be chosen to play by the deep state
Russia is solving long-term security threats, that means after Ukraine, the likes of Baltics, Finland, Poland and any other neighbor with Western bases are next
and the objectives will be achieve either via diplomacy or military
