Why do Republicans conflate working hard with being valuable? If my basic knowledge of economics serves me right, the only thing that renders something its value is the balance of supply and demand. This is why athletes get paid $200,000 for throwing a ball around while the McWagie gets minimum wage.

They know stripping Medicaid is almost universally unpopular with their Constituents so they're desperately trying to paint the scapegoat of a mid-30s white unemployed slacker as the impetus for fucking their base over (despite it actually being in service of giving tax cuts to the billionaires who own them).

Boomers need you waging away to juice their shares and fund social security. They built a world where the only virtues are wealth and effort. It’s how they justify their materialism and excess, by saying “it was earned with hard work”. That’s it. Don’t think about it too much.

Republicans are the party that wants to make labor cheaper, democrats are the party that wants more house niggers.

It's a match made in hell.

It's not Repubz, it's a boomer thing. Their value to society and their families is tied to their income. Boomer parents stand tall thinking they supported their families by slaving their good years away for a corporation, but ignored their children in the process.
Boomers are lite-jews in their reverence for money
