The punk scene is dead because it's no longer viable as an independent subculture. They've been shown up as self-hating white people who by definition can't rebel against something that's supposed to either be dead already or fighting back against globohomo, which effectively now is it's own establishment.
Thus, their rebellion rings hollow and is fake and gay.
There are no real avenues of getting traction because all the legacy avenues of popularity are controlled by the media companies (recorded media), ticket master (for shows), and media companies making a deal with silicon valley (for online).
Also, all the white zoomers are niggerheaded rap fanatics who were conditioned to wigger out since they were born back in the 00s, and they are too retarded to pirate music or find media outside their shitty phone skinner box play stores.
Punks are themselves hipsters who depend on being a bridge between cultures, and that has fallen out of fashion as a countercultural meme, since the whole discourse is now being engineered by the liberals to be one giant bridge.
If you don't want to lose your aesthetic originality, you will have to set up barriers for a walled garden or disappear into some cultural wilderness.
They literally can't do that anymore, or else they lose whatever staying power their memetic investment originally had. They cannot be anything else besides what they currently are, or else they end up turning into Tommy Lee or Vince Neil of Motley Crue and totally spiral out into irrelevance.
Trump is not Bush, and now he has staffers that can send the memes right back at them.
