Real narcissism is a delusion, an innate belief *no matter what* that you're superior. If you're a narcissist and someone doesn't go along with your delusion, you're extremely insulted. Since you already think they're beneath you, you hate them. It all fits with the parasite biological niche, which is to take and not feel bad about it.
