Now is the time for diplomacy. The autocratic mind of its doddering kleptocrat is stubborn and arrogant but even he has to realize at this point that he's never going to reach the endpoint of his nuclear ambitions without just getting bombed back to start again. If he gives up on nukes then Iran becomes irrelevant to our overall security architecture. Convincing Iran that:
A. nuclear weapons are unattainable for them as long as the west exists
B. trying anyways is just going to keep getting them bombed with nothing to show for it
Means convincing them that we can go our way and they can go theirs and we don't have to play this stupid game anymore.
