I was extremely lucky. I started dating my childhood friend. We knew each other since we were 6 or 7 and have been together for 32 years. She was the sweetest thing and my boy genes made me protect her all throughout our lives. I love her very much. But I don't think it is as easy to have a childhood friend to marry in US. I say this as someone that finds it very easy to have sex with women.
