Be honest with yourselves /pol/: how the hell are we supposed to fix the soul-crushing isolation that’s infecting modern society?

We’ve got millions of men completely atomized, no real community, no families, no purpose - just screens, porn, fast food, and antidepressants.
Dating is dead unless you’re in the top 5%, churches are empty, friends are fake, and everything feels manufactured.

Was this always the plan? Did they design it this way?
How do you even begin to fix something this broken?

The solution is genetic engineering.

They didn't design it this way or plan for it to be like this. It was just a unintended result of the internet and the path it took.
There have been many cases of things seeing widespread use and causing major unintended damage to society.
As for how it will be fixed?
It will eventually be fixed when everything collapses and people don't have a false reality fulfilling them.

Honestly, internet as you know it today is going to be porno theaters in NYC in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. I wouldn't even give it another 10 years. Like all things, the government took a while to recognize it as a threat, and as thus allowed it to spiral out of control. Internet and automation technologies will become heavily regulated (we're already seeing the infancy of this with having to prove age to see porn) and they CANNOT allow A.I. to get too powerful. Computers and what you can do with them will be regulated so they're powerful tools, but only ones that can be used to improve a person's quality of life.

Now....it's going to take a major economic disaster for this to happen. I'm talking The Great Depression 10x over, but once people start losing money, they'll stick people in congress who will change everything. A.I., computers, and the internet will be controlled by The Dept. of Defense (kind of like how GPS is) and in about 20 years I think we'll see something like the 50s again, only on a global level.
