I interact with a lot of black people at my job. I like many of them. There is nothing to cope with as far as racism goes. Being racist is literally the default mode. Blacks have a way more racialized view of the world than even I do, in fact every nonwhite does. I feel like white people being 'racist' is just them relearning common sense that every one else knows.
Being racist doesn't mean I detest every single nigger. That would be absurd. It means have pattern recognition but can accept when the pattern does not hold true, as well.

In the military I had to stand post with one of those legendary black rednecks from the south, like bubba from Forrest Gump but also deep south Republican. I should have kept being drinking buddies with him after I got out.

I try to always keep it friendly, and show respect in it.
But all of my friends have drifted strongly to the right (initially helped a lot by me) so that everyone is on the same page now except for issues around race.

Racism isn't a "white" thing. It's literally an everybody thing. Blacks are racist even against those darker than they are. Indians have the caste SYSTEM. Blacks constantly rip on Mexicans ... Mexicans rip on blacks ... it's never ending, and it probably never will.

I had a few, when I was younger. They were black, not niggers. They were intelligent and decent. I made the catastrophic mistake of thinking that blacks weren't all that bad. Six years of working in the city cured me of that, forever.
