In hot and arid regions, utilizing mud is both resource effective and regulated temperature inside structures to be cooler, hence the whole mud hut thing in Africa.
In areas where temperatures range from freezing to warm and the layout can change suddenly, inventions like the wheel and utilization of fire are necessities.
In areas close to water, development of boats becomes an inevitability once fish are found as a viable food source.
