There are no rules actually. I broke two of those for various reasons. Didn't marry wife til 8 years of being g together and 3 year engagement. Had our first kid 9 years in. Perfectly healthy kids and stable battle tested relationship. Women don't show their final form until you have kids so it's still a dice roll
