The churches of the world are all like the religions, in that they are social, cultural, or political bodies, fundamentally worldly and in practice a denial of faith.
and the reason I start with, existential nihilism is true, because that gives you the best chance at actually coming to the end of yourself and putting it in God's hands, which is ultimately a sort of faith: the faith that does not provide you any assurance or even knowledge that you have faith. You are actively choosing hell, in faith in Christ and in salvation: that is what faith is.
