So it doesn't seem like a huge difference. Israel isn't invading anyway except for some minor incursions; they're dropping bombs, and Hezbollah can't do much to deter such air strikes.
As for the assassinations, it seems Hezbollah quite quickly figured out how the Israelis were tracking them. New leadership including Naim Qassem are still alive. Presumably, Hezbollah became more careful with the use of phones and other electronics. So Hezbollah should've had plenty of time to reconstitute the command chain.
