BRICS is literally piggybacking off of the American created global financial system. Every single major BRICs country project has heavy investmrnt coming from the US and other Western countries. The whole concept of BRICS was created by Goldman Sachs. Once the US defaults on its debt, it will simply transition to the escape hatch that it has had for the better part of 2 decades now: Bitcoin and then tokenization of every single physical asset imaginable. BRICS will participate because BRICS is the other side of the same globalist plan that the West has been leading for decades.

It would be catastrophic for nearly the whole planet. Even for China. Ironically, killshotting the US Navy is somewhat of a mass suicide pill. You'd have to restart whole economic systems. retarded take
BRICS hasn't had any other option than to play the globalist game to compete.
BRICS has long stated that the game is rigged too, but they're gonna keep playing until it's in their interest to do so.
Even the term "BRICS" was taken by them as given opportunity to create an economic alternative to participating in a rigged environment and increase their ability to negotiate with the US. The problem is exactly that the west pursues a divide-and-rule strategy with these nations on purpose, by shifting investment focus and applying political pressure. But if the US military hegemony is in any way impacted? Things will start changing fast.

Yes chang, two.....more.....centuries.

I would have more respect for you if your country just minded its own business and worked to make your own people great. But you don't do that, you peg your currency to the USD, your officials steal from the population and take their filthy loot out of the country (and then convert it into USD), and you refuse to empower your domestic consumer base, because that would threaten the CCP power structure. Fuck off and come back when you are actually serious about being global hegemon.

The tragedy for the Chinese people is that you could be a powerhouse....if you could only rid yourself of the nigger-tier devotion to saving "face," while you deface everyone else, including your own. If you just concentrated on making your own country and people great, you could zoom past the US (and I am an American) within 10 years, but as it stands, your current course and pathologies make that impossible.

So, King Dollar it is and King Dollar it will remain. What the morons in the elite circles assumed, in wanting to transfer global power to China, was that non-whites had the same culture and quality as the West. As far as the West has fallen, the East still does not have the culture or quality to unseat the West.

Donald Trump has given China the opportunity to become self-sufficient by removing both countries dependency on each other, and thus far, China's attempts to do that have been pathetic and a failure.

PPP has no meaning when comparing economies that have different currencies.

Cope all you want but this is a fact. The gold standard is GDP PER CAPITA. GDP alone is the globalist jew metric of choice, and PPP is the metric of choice for the currencies that are depressed by the globalist system.

GDP per capita alone isn’t enough, though, because extreme wealth disparity renders it meaningless.

>>>PPP is the metric of choice for currencies that are depressed by the globalist system

What? How? Do you think PPP only works for shitcoins? How would that even be?

The United States has no economy.
The United States economy only appears to exist because of two factors:

1) American military dominance and the blackmail that comes with it.

2) American financial tricks that effectively make America into a parasite state via forcing actual producing countries to fill America with money and goods as long as the dollar supremacy remains.

But their economy is small.
And yes... the bigger % of the world economy a country controls the more relevant it is so big = better economics wise.
The US was surpassed by China as the biggest economy in the world ten years ago.
Nowadays I think China has an economy 120% the size of the USA.
And the difference has been growing every year.

Your only saving grace is that China is dependent on you and foreign trade to such an extent that is actually easy for the American military might to blockade China and thus crashing its economy.

This is a complete mess, I think the US is losing to BRICS, but for completely different reasons than the economy being 'fake'. When the US opens its market to the world it lets production in other countries find a market for things that their own country has no use for. In truth what the US does is create a form of hard welfare where there's an illusion of production and consumerism when in reality the federal government is creating money from the very same loans they gave out to develop those economies to begin with. It's not recursive however it comes at the expense of the average person that lives in the US because the government creates money to pay for products no one asked for. There's warehouses filled with things like hammers, they do this to create an illusion of capitalism when no one is actually buying the bulk of the products they sit on shelves then are stuffed in a warehouse after their planned obsolescence cycle ends. There's no 'financial trick' the only thing the USD offers these countries is a means to purchase oil, the panic around the USSR made it so that Europe wouldn't buy Russian oil during the Cold War, now that's over the conflict in Ukraine is driving them closer to the USD. Pretty much every country in BRICS except Russia is a joke, Russia has oil and can trade it without the USD, that's the only thing making the petrodollar useless. There's no other topic worth discussing apart from this, oil is the backbone of every economy, the US military can't threaten Russia so it follows that the US military can't dictate their trade.

The real economy is in the fact it has oil and food and doesn't rely on imports. That's it. The US has a real economy in this sense, in terms of global trade, no. All the US does is outsource the consumerism of other countries that have no markets for what they produce. The dollar is valuable because you need it to buy oil from the middle east, Russia has its own oil and doesn't care, ergo the dollar is worthless to most countries. This isn't complicated the USD is very well backed by its own agriculture and energy sectors. On a global scale it's not since most major countries like Argentina have their own resources to play with. Which is why Argentina suddenly turned into ancapistan. This economic nationalist chest beating is about as productive as Hindu peasants arguing about whether or not Krishna will bless them with fortune, nations aren't real, resources are.

"BRICS" is a misnomer, because out of those only India and China are actual economies (Russia is a gas station, and Brazil had little else).

There is an issue, though, which is that the same diseases that ail the western economies - government intervention in the economy, chronic government spending, lack of freedom - exist in India and China in spades. There are some things where they are better - India's population is younger, China is less regulated - but it remains to be seen whether that's enough to compete with western economies. The west is in a bad way, but we still carry the seed of the birth of modernity, we still have unapologetic capitalists, while all they have is a third-worldist inferiority complex.

yeah, and how is bitcoin going to save the USD value? The US would need to not only own multiple times more bitcoin than any other nation, but also to be able to issue bitcoin freely to service its debt. Since bitcoin cannot be issued at will it cannot save the USD. People are buying dollars as a store of value, hence the original point: if the US cannot guarantee its currency's value internationally by military force, the dollar loses its value and the US collapses immediately.

>>509694014
I think BRICS currently is all about insulating about that eventuality. If they have a replacement currency that can be substituted to the dollar and a replacement payment system the damage can be minimized. They would probably offer the US a kind of bail out or debt swap in exchange for the US losing all of its world police ambitions.

This.
Or, unless civil war and total social collapse occur in the US.
Even the Chinese, who are the most relevant within BRICS, are still trying to avoid getting too deeply involved in the international financial game. This is because doing so would mean going to war with the US.
They have been buying US bonds and supporting the US dollar hegemony, just like Japan. But, in recent years, China has been moving away from this.
In other words, signs of war between the two countries are becoming apparent.
