I'm on my second year in University and I don't live there, I just commute.

It's impossible to make friends there, I don't even know what to do, it's killing me on the inside. Humans need social interaction in order to be sane.
Everybody at this god damn university is shy and incredibly introverted, well not necessarily everybody but like 99% of them. I start a conversation with some dude sitting next to me and he just mumbles some crap and goes back to scrolling on his phone. Don't even get me started on the girls, I'll admit I'm bit of a loudmouth and a very outgoing person so when I talk to these girls they freeze up for some fucking reason.

In my classes, it's literally just me asking all of the questions apart from maybe 2 other kids. The zoomers don't say shit.
What the fuck, in a normal world a person like me should have lots of friends, I've been outgoing and extroverted my whole life now when I surround my self with zoomers, I feel isolated.

Some young people are all right. When I was their age, I liked listening to old music, reading old music, and watching older movies. I took time to learn from my elders and the past. I feel like a lot of the younger anons here are like that. They look back to history to learn. Your average broccoli-haired little faggot at the mall is not like though, and he doesn't have respect for those that have came before him. You need to join the social clubs, anon. Join the groups that are specifically there for people who want to be social. You're at a disadvantage because you don't live on campus and commute from home. But if you join those clubs, people will be more receptive to opening up and being friends. Also, when you get further into a degree program and start having classes with the same people over and over, that helps, too. But go find the social clubs, extrovert anon.
