turkey's political path right now is to become a copy of azerbaijan - an elite-approved dictatorship that specifically props up the Erdogan family. this week they've begun imprisoning council leaders from opposition parties on bogus corruption charges.
the problem with this path is that unlike their azeri counterparts, turkey has no natural resources to prop it up financially. the state's income is entirely reliant on tax revenue. so with their currency in constant free-fall, they're gonna run into solvency issues which i don't think will bode well.
in the short term, turkey is pretty fucked.

In Daniel chapter 8, the prophet has a vision of a 2 horned Ram that lashes out against all its neighbors, but then a Goat with 1 big horn gets enraged and launches itself at the Ram and smashes it and breaks its two horns, the goat then becomes powerful until it's big horn is broken and separates into 4 horns growing in cardinal directions. Then out of one of the horns a little horn grows out and the little horn conquers Israel.

the Angel Gabriel explains the symbols:

A lot of people think this is about Alexander the Great, and he did foreshadow it, but Gabriel says it's about the end times, meaning it has yet future fulfillment.
Turkey was part of Ancient Greece. The 2 horns are 2 leaders, Daniel 11 says there will be 4 Persian Kings and then Greece will conquer them. Back in ancient history there were like 12 kings between Darius and Alexander, but if we look at Modern Iran, .. we're on king 2.
When he dies, and we're on king 3, there will be a king 4 that rules at the same time (2 horns on the ram, with the greater one coming up last), this will be the Shia claimant to the Mahdi.
This will infuriate Sunni nations especially Turkey.
