I like my EV. I charge it at home with my solar panels and the jeet at the gas station gets nothing.

Even if you grant the: "There is easily 600 years worth of all variations on fossilized fuels" as true, which it might be. Then even still, there is one source of raw energy which is renewable even after all the surface coal is mined, all the subterenean coal is mined, all the fossil fuels sucked up from beneath, all the uranium is mined, all the oil sands are finished and all the natgas resivoirs are tapped. After all that, 600 years from now, there is one source of energy which will still be producing energy even after all your nuclear reactors, coal plants and fossil fuel combusion cranks fall silent; solar panels and sunlight.

Like it or not, the future of energy, if you're looking ahead a thousand years, is solar panels. You may hate it, you may prove it's a thousand years away, but eventually solar will win, because there is nothing else. All fuel sources are "Fossilized solar power". Solar power is the only real time fossil fuel.

and yes, between 5% and 50% of the planetary surface will be in the shade, you will have to pay a fed Kredit per unit rolling temporal window if you wish to feel real sunlight.

I'm sure eventually most vehicles will be EVs. It will be a long item before we have he infrastructure to support that though. They should have pushed hybrids more so we could at least reduce our dependence on oil while we build up the infrastructure for EVs. Now EVs have somewhat of a bad name because they were pushed while we just don't have to infrastructure to support mass adoption of them. As usual when the left wants something they want it now and don't care that big changes take a long time for people to make.

Im not opposed to evs. I'm not going to pay 50k for anything though. Anyone will be lucky to get more than 5k off me anymore. I will literally buy a beater with 200k miles and change the components that will make it go another 100k for an all in price of 3k if I can swing it. Old Ford 4.6l v8s are a dime a dozen. maybe in Austin sure but in most cities, the charging stations are crap and EVs are impractical. the cold kills batteries and so does the extreme heat. EVs and AI also cannot really co-exist since both need lots of energy that we don't have.

You can make a little hydrogen fuel cell to add to your engine. Some people say it improves fuel efficiency but i have my doubts. They wire it up to the alternator to give voltage to the cell which is just water baking soda and bits of metal

The UK is banning the sale of new normal cars in 5 years, and phasing the sale of hybrids out over 10. Ive got absolutely no idea how thats going to happen. Nobody drives EVs beside company leases. The infrastructure isnt there domestically, or on a retail basis. The raw energy supply isnt there. The money isnt there to buy new EVs, nobody wants a used EV. They keep squeezing people trying to force adoption. Its retarded, politicians are fucking us over and dragging us over a cliff edge.
