This place drains you of your patience, hope, vitality and optimism. And it's not even about been pozzed or anything, the problem is philosophical, the more you live in Italy the more the sense of purpose erodes and you start questioning if people are really alive or they just obey their impulses while being spiritually dead. One might argue it is the same everywhere but I go to Greece for work a lot and over there people still feel alive and with a reasoning brain.
