You can't back door it. Thats not the way it works. And the vulnerabilities are superficial to the mathematics. In other words its some asshole doing a poor implementation. If bitcoin suffered from this it would have been found already with all that money on the line. Take a couple of days and study the math. It'll kinda blow your mind how it works if you can understand it fully.

They can't do it. Its not magic its a limitation in computers that cannot be overcome without making computers faster. Quantum computers promised the ability to test all possible combinations of a math function in one operation. And if they could do that they would indeed be able to break encyption. But it turns out that they cannot do it. There is an error rate and any error at all means the function is not solved. And it doesn't help them solve it faster either. Because the function is non linear.
