It's a mental illness but I think it's trauma and/or loneliness induced, not specifically a porn thing. A lot of the gay and trans community have stories of being molested in their past, and I still remember years ago on this very website when it was being memed that incels wanted to "be the little girl" or woman or waifu or whatever that they could never get. Technically, it is considered a mental illness. But our ability to treat ANY mental illness is limited at best. The most effective way to help trans people is to, unlike indulging a schizophrenic in their delusions or telling an anorexic to eat less, but provide them gender reassignment surgery or ACK is easier and more direct than correcting the illness.

Not going to be a popular opinion around here but I think It's a epigenetic cause more than anything else based on the way the way young men are raised, I mean they are metaphorically castrated from there hyper feminist mothers and feminist society in general.
