Hebrew: Soldier will not be recognized as a fallen IDF soldier and will not receive a military burial. His family said, โHe dedicated his life to fighting.โ The IDF said, " That's the law." Daniel Adry was found on Saturday inside a burning car in Safed after he was unable to cope with the post-traumatic stress and suffering he experienced following the fighting in Gaza. Although he took his own life, he dedicated his life to fighting for Israel, and now his family is demanding that he receive a military burial. The IDF responded: "The IDF and the Ministry of Defense share in the grief of the family of the late Daniel Adry. According to the law, an IDF casualty is only someone who fell during military service, either regular or active reserve duty. The late Daniel Adry was not in regular or active reserve service, and therefore cannot be recognized as an IDF casualty and is not eligible for a military burial."
