Republicans did massively cut the National Weather Service's funding not too long ago and it is their job to predict these kinds of things.

When, and this is a result of this? So if I go to weather.com right now, it's no longer a thing? The weather stations that monitor Kerrville were shut down?
>>509741796
I live really close to where this happened, and it is pretty weird. We got hardly any rain here, yet a bit down the road (Kerrville, where this happened) they got over a foot in a few hours, which is insane.

I know what you mean. I live in Iowa, and I got no rain at all. Why isn't it raining everywhere when it rains in one location? The government is responsible for this. If it rains where I live, that means it's raining everywhere.

BASED i wonder how god's mysterious ways is going to hurt the burgers

You're right anon. If funding was cut, the flood would have never happened. Accurate weather forecasts? What are those? That's commie liberal socialist Marxist propaganda!
>>509745108
Do you know what was cut? Do you have evidence to suggest the accuracy of forecasts has changed since the cuts? This should be pretty easy to prove given you have accurate weather from thousands of weather stations not just from NOAA but also independent commercial weather providers and even hobbyists.

I don't live in Iowa, I'm 30 minutes away. Why is hyperbole necessary if you're trying to claim what I'm saying is so ridiculous on its face? I never claimed anything about weather manipulation, I just said it's weird we got like an inch of rain, and 30 minutes away they got 14 inches in a few hours, in a pretty isolated area. It's not like we were hit with a hurricane, this rain was incredibly concentrated to one area.

They have been dogshit all year. I read somewhere meteorologist stopped having access to data from a government satellite and now they are back to guessing what is going to happen with the weather.
>>509747913
The meteorologist from the Houston news station I just posted said all of the government wasn't able to predict this either. Check the 7:40 timestamp.
>>509747913
They have definitely been dogshit. But haven't they always been? Also leaves me wondering how they construct the radar map on our weather sites/ aps if they don't have gov satellite data?

The funding cuts don’t even take effect until 2026 but bootlicking shitlibs want you to believe drumpf is personally murdering children by summoning
flood waters
