How are you dealing with the current food price crisis? When will it end and why is nobody protesting in the streets?

Pick one potato, one egg, salt, bread.
Coffee, tea.

If you go to Ukraine and kill North Koreans you can easily raise 2000$ a month or something.
The food is free.

I just cook from scratch, I spend under £50 a week on food, that's breakfast, lunch and dinner, big meals and without trying to be frugal.
Yeah prices have gone up a lot but it's not that bad and what's more important to spend money on than the food you eat?

NY prices make me want to kill myself
it's 5/8ths upstate but I live in LI and they have me at gunpoint, I never go out to eat ever again while roasties do this until their credit bluff runs out before mine
shit went from ok you live in a metropolitan state to instant gacha game with tearjerker spic cashiers crying if you steal 5 dollars of their massas product while you've already spent at least 50 each visit

fasting (one meal a day max, usually 48-72hr fasts), food banks, eating out every two weeks or less, meal prep (eating lots of lentils, bean soup, chili and pasta sauce, i can make 6+ meals' worth and freeze). i've even gone to free meals at homeless shelters/churches a few times, including on Christmas last year. that was pretty bleak, ngl

after i get through this period in my life i will never be able to look at a peanut butter and jelly sandwich again the same way

on the plus side, since i started fasting i've lost 30+ pounds and gained some muscle from exercise. all you need is sea salt, potassium (sold in the spice aisle as "no-salt") and magnesium ($5 bottle of supplements will last 6 months+). i just take those three stirred in some hot water whenever i start getting dizzy from lack of electrolytes.

You can just work out which one you want and get a kill date setup. Farmer should be able to get it to the facility for you then you put it in a chest freezer.

hell yeah.
>cheapest cut of meat on sale
>taters, onions, carrots, garlic, mushrooms if fancy
>broth (homemade, just save the ends of onions, skin/fat, bones)
>spices and a bit of vinegar
>tallboy of cheap lager
throw in pot and cook low & slow until your house smells great

one of the cheapest but most delicious ways to eat. 10 meals for $20 especially if you already have some ingredients
